Privacy and data use

Privacy

ZhanJian only analyzes public pages that you choose to submit. It does not require source code, an admin account or Search Console access.

Information we process

When you start an audit, the server receives the URL you entered and reads the public HTTP response, HTML, robots.txt and sitemap. The browser report may display public metadata and link samples with query values removed.

How the data is used

Necessary infrastructure and basic product analytics are used for URL safety checks and to understand whether the audit flow works. Analytics does not receive the audited URL, raw error messages or free-form text. A page URL is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights only if you explicitly start the optional performance test, and query parameters and fragments are removed first.

Retention and abuse prevention

ZhanJian does not create an audit history or persist reports and link inventories. Performance results may be cached in memory for up to 30 minutes. To limit automated abuse, the service may store an anonymous rate-limit identifier and request counters generated with a server secret. Raw IP addresses are not stored for profiling.

What the audited website can see

The target website receives ordinary HTTP requests from the ZhanJian server and may record the request time, source network and the ZhanJianBot user agent. Only submit public pages that you have a reasonable basis to inspect. Do not submit URLs containing access tokens, login details or other sensitive parameters.

Changes to this notice

If accounts, saved reports or additional third-party services are added, this page will be updated first.
